Poetry? Slam! Poetry? Slam! Slam? Poetry!!! On the third Saturday of every month, poets get up on stage to compete for a grand prize of $100, in an interactive show where five randomly selected judges gives poets a score out of 10. Join us!

Ontario Poetry Competition

On Saturday July 29, eight poetry slam teams from across the province will converge in Guelph for a one-day Ontario-wide competition! Tickets for the preliminary bouts in the afternoon and finals in the evening are available online. 

Poetry Slam Standings

At the end of every season, the top poets who have slammed at least three times get a chance to compete for a spot on the Guelph Poetry Slam Team. Check out past scores and current standings to see where you (or your favourite poets) are doing.
